Using Our Website
By accessing or using the SatinHaus website including browsing, creating an account, or placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Online Security information. Collectively, these documents are referred to as our “Terms”.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our website.
1. Ownership & Risk
All goods supplied by SatinHaus remain our property until payment has been received in full.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
2. Colour, Finish & Batch Variation
Our colour-matching equipment is carefully maintained and regularly calibrated. While every reasonable effort is made to ensure accuracy, paint colours may vary due to the nature of pigments and base materials, lighting conditions, surface texture, and application method. Minor batch variations may also occur.
We strongly recommend ordering sample cards and testing colours in situ before placing a full paint order.
3. Colour Representation Online
We aim to display our paint colours as accurately as possible on our website. However, variations in screen settings and devices mean we cannot guarantee an exact colour match on delivery. Viewing samples in the intended environment is always advised prior to purchase.
4. Storage Responsibility
Once delivered, responsibility for storing our products correctly rests with the customer. SatinHaus cannot accept liability for damage, deterioration, or loss resulting from unsuitable or unsafe storage conditions.
Our Satin water-based enamel should be stored at approximately 5°C, protected from frost, and kept away from heat sources such as underfloor heating.
This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty goods.
5. Returns & Cancellations
All SatinHaus paint is produced to order. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right to cancel does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. For this reason, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind once an order has been placed.
This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries
All orders are dispatched via trackable courier services. If your delivery arrives damaged or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt so we can resolve the issue promptly. Replacement goods will be issued at no additional cost, subject to reasonable evidence being provided where requested.
Damaged paint containers must not be returned to SatinHaus.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
7. Product Use & Safety
Customers are responsible for familiarising themselves with the application, usage, and safety information relating to our products before use. Full guidance is available on our website.
8. Information, Performance & Liability
All information provided on our website and within accompanying literature is supplied in good faith. As preparation standards, application methods, and site conditions are beyond our control, SatinHaus cannot guarantee specific results or performance outcomes.
Where liability does arise, it is limited to the purchase price of the goods supplied. We do not accept responsibility for indirect or consequential losses, including (but not limited to) labour costs, project delays, or additional expenses incurred.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
9. Delivery
We offer next-working-day delivery to most areas of the UK for orders placed before 12:00pm on a working day. Orders placed outside these times, or on weekends or public holidays, will be processed on the next working day.
Delivery times are estimates only. While our courier services are highly reliable, we cannot accept responsibility for delays outside our control.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions, and any disputes or claims arising in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
